Highway 395 in the Eastern Sierras winds its way through some of California’s most dramatic landscapes (and takes one back in time) to the gold rush days. On a clear day the skies are impossibly blue and the morning air is crisp and clean. The beauty of the High Country has fascinated many over the years and even if we can’t visit, we can experience this amazing place through their stories and photographs.
