I take this song title from the name of a Sunday School service held on September 15, 1963 at the 16th St. Church in Birmingham, Alabama. After Mrs. Ella C. Demand’s class finished, a bomb planted by Klansmen went off killing four young girls. Even in times of national outrage, anger and racial strife, there is forgiveness as well.
